Another essential component of ZEISS O-DETECT is the first in its class: an overview camera with integrated 5-megapixel camera sensor. This equipment automatically locates the component to be measured without the need for user intervention. This saves time and increases the machine’s throughput. As is the case with other applications, this machine is also characterized by very simple and intuitive controls.

ZEISS ZAPHIRE is a fully 3D software package with workflows simple enough for anyone to pick up, needing only 2 days of training. Coupled with the full-color overview camera, ZEISS ZAPHIRE on ZEISS O-DETECT makes tasks like part navigation more ergonomic and intuitive.

From now until 31 December 2021, all ZEISS O-DETECTs come with an additional complimentary 1-year ZEISS ZAPHIRE basic software maintenance agreement (SMA). With an SMA, you are guaranteed to be on the latest software version that allows you to benefit from compatibility with all new machine types, accessories and standards.
