Multiphoton microscopy – an advantage you should use for your research now!

Confocality through nonlinear excitation in the infrared range. Femtosecond pulses make fluorescence signals visible in deep tissue layers. For upright and inverted microscopes, expandable. A complex technology used with perfect ease.

High optical precision and innovative technology in conjunction with intelligent scanning procedures allow non-damaging image acquisition from all kinds of specimens.

Compact scanning module:
Shortest beam paths plus stability thanks to compact design. Two independent scanning mirrors, collimators for the visible and near-infrared ranges, and the detectors in the scanning module guarantee maximum sensitivity.
Selection of laser lines:
Free combination of visible-light laser lines with all lines of a femtosecond laser. Suitable excitation wavelengths are available for all investigations and dyes. Software control of all lasers via a digital signal processor (DSP), a tunable acousto-optical filter (AOTF) and a acousto-optical modulator (AOM) ensure fast line selection at a defined output power.
Flexible scanning strategies:
Mark the structures of interest with a mouse click, and the DSP, AOM and AOTF will interact to illuminate only these structures, at the selected intensity. High tech you can control conveniently.
Variable detection:
Two or three channels in the descanned mode. The META detector supplies spectral information. Up to four channels in the non-descanned mode, one of which can also be used as a transmitted-light channel. Signal acquisition without restrictions.
Unsurpassed optics:
Microscopes, objectives and electronic circuitry from Carl Zeiss deliver top resolution in every application.
Suitable dyes:
Most of the familiar fluorochromes, many of which have broad excitation spectra in the near infrared, can be used without restriction.
