The fully integrated FCS detection head is mounted on the Axiovert 200 M, the new standard for inverted microscopes. The choice of attachment at the side- or baseport gives sufficient flexibility for your required setup. Rely on extreme stability and enjoy the unique ergonomic features.
No compromise in sensitivity.
The C-Apochromat 40x / W 1.2 high numerical aperture objective guarantees a maximum collection efficiency of photons emitted by an excited molecule. These photons are detected with highest sensitivity by avalanche photodiodes (APDs).
Marriage of Optics and Mathematics.
The confocal volume is produced by focusing the laser beam on the physically smallest possible spot using high precision optics. Recorded fluctuations in fluorescence are then analyzed by a sophisticated mathematical equation, the correlation function.
Automation to enhance user comfort.
The ConfoCor 2 uses a motorized and computer controlled microscope stand and detection head, enabling the automation of measurement protocols. High reproducibility in your measurements, high sample throughput and delegation of routine measurements go without saying.
